                                                         Signaling Conversion between R2 and Q.SIG       

This is one successful and real application case in North America.


Background:
Operator TELMEX provide R2 signaling only, however, PBX at end user site supports Q.SIG signaling only. Then because of different signaling, both sides cannot connect with each other.

Solutions: How to make connection between them
In such a case, to establish calls between Operator and the end user side, they must use one same signaling, so there need to convert the signaling. Then a “signaling converter or signaling gateway NC-AD300D” from NICEUC company will fixed this problem.


Regarding above requirement, we provide the following solutions: among the two sides, add NC-AD300D; convert the R2 signaling of Operator to the signaling Q.SIG of end user, or convert the signaling Q.SIG of end user to the R2 signaling of Operator, Plz check the following picture:


After adding “signaling converter or signaling gateway NC-AD300D”, connection between Operator and end user has been established, then they can make calls with each other as showing here:
